General Information

All orders can be placed online through this website and are subject to availability. (Please do not e-mail your card details - no responsibility can be taken for the security of your details if given this way.) Orders placed during weekends or Public Holidays are classed as belonging to the following working week. All sizes shown are approximate. All prices shown include VAT charged at the current rate.

Normal office hours are: Mon-Fri 9:00am to 4:30pm, unless otherwise notified.

Payment

Payment by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron) is accepted externally to this website through the Secure Server PayPal system. Please note that a PayPal account is not required to use this facility.

Print Information

All photographs are 'Open Edition' and are professionally produced Lab Prints on FujiFilm Crystal Archive Satin Matte Photographic Paper. This paper has a lustre matte surface and delivers prints with outstanding colours and 'bite' which last longer and minimise fading. Employing traditional chemical processing after exposure, they have the same look and feel as a traditional silver halide photograph. Fujifilm claims a 60-year life for this color photo paper when framed behind glass and out of direct sunlight. Please note that I do not issue inkjet prints.

It is recommended that all pictures are positioned avoiding direct sunlight and direct artificial light. In addition, it is preferable to avoid sources of heat and humidity.

Flat Prints

Flat Prints are supplied without mounts or frames and are despatched rolled in sturdy mailing tubes.

Mounted Prints (when available)

Photographs are first pre-mounted onto acid-free Arqadia 'Fastmount Permanent' rigid board and then fitted to professionally produced 45 degree bevel cut acid-free textured mounts of a neutral colour. They are supplied 'ready to frame' in clear sealed bags, with rigid board backs for protection and labelling. For matching purposes, mounts are Daler-Rowney 5011385934809 'Snow White' 302002697 or equivalent.

Framed Prints (when available)

Photographs are first pre-mounted onto acid-free Arqadia 'Fastmount Permanent' rigid board and then fitted to professionally produced 45 degree bevel cut acid-free textured mounts of a neutral colour. They are then framed in high quality 22mm deep solid 'Box Oak' frames and supplied 'ready to display' with labelling. For matching purposes, frames are Arqadia Moulding 114 200 000 'Barefaced Oak' or equivalent. This is a solid wood moulding with a very contemporary look. (Mounts as described above.)

Viewing

Please bear in mind that all monitors are different and may not represent the original Print exactly. To assist in viewing images as accurately as possible prior to purchase, please refer to the colour scale shown below. A correctly calibrated monitor should show all tones clearly. This provides an indication only.

Despatch

All items are assembled to order. I aim to despatch orders within 5 to 10 working days of receiving your payment. However, on occassions, this may be slightly longer. If this is the case I will contact you by e-mail to make you aware of the situation. In the event that ordered items are not in stock, I shall inform you by e-mail at the earliest opportunity. Please inform me if you do have a deadline to meet, so that I may best accommodate your requirements.

Flat Prints are despatched rolled carefully in sturdy cardboard mailing tubes. Mounted Prints are single-boxed. Framed Prints which include glass are double-boxed. I endeavour to ensure that, wherever possible, my main packing materials are recycleable.

Delivery

UK Customers

UK mainland delivery is fixed at £2.95 GBP for all Flat Prints.

International Customers

I am able to despatch only Flat Prints (not mounted or framed) to destinations outside of the UK in sturdy postal tubes. Delivery charges necessary for these destinations are:

  • European Union (EU), delivery charge: £6.00 GBP.
  • Worldwide (other than the European Union), delivery charge: £7.00 GBP.

Please note that for items sent to destinations outside of the European Union (EU), the recipient is responsible for paying any customs duties and taxes plus any other fees due.

At this time I am unable to deliver to PO Boxes, so any delivery to such an address cannot be processed.

Returns Policy

Please retain the original packaging used for delivery.

In the unfortunate event that it is necessary to return an item to me, please repack the item securely (the packaging used for delivery can be used for return) and enclose the original paperwork. Please obtain a separate copy of your Post Office returns receipt clearly showing the price paid and include this with your returned package - either placed inside & sealed or placed in an envelope attached to the outside of the package. Please send your package using a service requiring a signature on delivery (Royal Mail Recorded Signed forTM or ParcelForce 48 for double-boxed Framed Prints).

Prior to returning any goods received, please contact me in the first instance by telephone or e-mail, to authorise the return.

Faulty Goods

This policy does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

If you have found an item to be faulty within 28 days of purchase, I can offer a refund (including delivery charge) or replacement. I will replace any items which are found to be faulty with the same product. However, if this product is no longer available, I will process a refund back to the original method of payment. In this case, charges incurred by the customer in returning the item for replacement or refund will be repayable, subject to a maximum charge of £2 (or £12 for double-boxed Framed Prints).

Incorrectly Described Goods

If your goods have been despatched as ordered, but their description on the website is incorrect, then they can be returned, unused in original condition, for a refund (including delivery charge) within 14 days after the receipt of the goods. Unwanted Goods

Cancellation

Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you are entitled to cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 7 working days, following the day when the goods are received, without having to give a reason. Please telephone or e-mail me in the first instance prior to returning any items. Please note that charges incurred by the customer in returning the item will be non-repayable.
